I am going to toss out an alternate theory that maybe Becton's problem is he trying to do too much and he needs to rest more and learn when not to over do it. He inured his shoulder during the middle of the 2020 season. He kept trying to play through it, aggravating the injury leading him to get pulled form games. The shoulder injury plagued him the rest of the season and the off-season. He finally got medically cleared from the shoulder injury in Spring 2021 and immediately hurt his foot with the plantar fasciitis injury which plagued him all the way to camp. In camp he struggled learning the new offense before getting injured missing most of camp with a concussion. He did not return from the concussion until game one and immediately then got injured again. It has been one continuous set of injuries for him now for almost 2 years. Maybe he needs to learn to back-off and ease into it.His injuries at this point seem chronic and being a man that big he might need to ease into training with a lot more caution. I also will dispute the narrative that Becton has been having a poor camp. He has been mediocre in pass protection but as the new Athletic reporter said yesterday on the Asman podcast Becton has not been bad but he has been dominant in the run game making a few splash plays everyday.
