I'd have no problem winning 0-1 games this year. That would have us in perfect position to get a FQB next year or trade down should Petty or Hack pan out.
What's left to possibly trade for? Unless they're just flipping this one for a 5 next year. But with the way it's going Macc probably traded down twenty spots for a late 7th.
God oh mighty. While most of the faithful here agree to disagree on selections, it is done professionally and with some knowledge of the game and or the players. It's too bad that we have to sift through a mile of worthless BS by a few that automatically trash the pick, with ignorant comments like trash, garbage, camp fod, and the like, without knowing fuck all nothing about the player nor the motivation behind the pick. Even more laughable is the self proclaimed expertise on trade values. Way I see it, we got two play makers with the WR and TE, which some of the now critics would have picked on the 4th round, and stock up with special team players on the later rounds with 4 more chances than we had before. Whoever said this is the worst draft ever for the Jets has single handedly redefined ther term " absolute lack of draft knowledge"
No. I just think it's stupid to pretend you know something about an unknown player in the 6th round and on top of that, assume he would have gone undrafted. It's dumb.
Aye, I know we're bad but I doubt we have space for 10 guys. Maybe this was the plan. Load up on picks and move into the next round next year? then keep doing it again and again. Then one day in the future they'll all turn into actual players.. Yea, that's the ticket!
