they had to do their whole long stalling routine player introductions, anthems, and other nonsense, just to start 25 minutes late.
http://college-football.si.com/2013/11/13/louisville-acc-conference-realignment/ On Wednesday, Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich and AAC commissioner Mike Aresco met and settled on an exit fee of $11 million, according to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy. This allows the ACC to officially bring the Cardinals into the fold on July 1, 2014, and because of Jurich’s “willingness to to work with the league to keep the dispute out of the courts,” the fee was reduced from the $15 million the conference originally was seeking, according to McMurphy.
UNLV with an absolutely horrific effort last night, blown off the floor by UCSB. This team is in year 3 under Rice and they still have no idea how to play against a zone defense.
A lot of games on Friday (unusual), but the top teams are mostly playing junk home games. UNC/Holy Cross and Duke/Florida Atlantic. Indiana hosting Samford. Louisville hosting Cornell. Columbia@Michigan State.
Carolina doesn't play a big game until a week from Sunday against Louisville(if they beat Richmond on Saturday). I would have gone to the UL game as it is in Mohegan Sun not too far away but it's a football Sunday.
This could be a really ugly season if Hairston and McDonald don't come back. The Heels played a sloppy game on Friday night eventually pulling away from holy Cross then followed that up by losing to Belmont where they missed TWENY SIX free throws in a 3 pt loss. what an awful sports day. Jets lose, Heels lose, giants win, dolphins win
no worries junc. Belmont is a good squad. We are going to be seeing more and more of these type of upsets for now on, with all these big schools playing youngsters, one or two and dones and fancy new recruits vs. smaller schools with loads of experience and continuity.. I'd be worried about Richmond as well if I was a UNC guy like you
I'm worried about every team the way the Heels played this weekend and no disrespect to Belmont as they made plays to win but if Carolina is just bad from the line they win easily. Missing 26 FTs, I can't remember than ever happening.
Our FT shooting is horrible as well... we've been 50% or better only once in 3 games. We needed a late block by Khem Birch to ensure we beat Nebraska-Omaha on our own floor Friday night. Nebraska-Omaha was like 280 in RPI last year. We are really bad, Arizona State and Jahi Carson are going to eat us up. Year 3 and UNLV still acts like they've never seen a zone defense.
Syracuse losing by 4 to St. Francis NY with 3:30 left. Would love nothing more to see them lose this game. At home nonetheless.
