The top two seeds in the WAC lost today.

Denver was a 16 point favorite and La. Tech a 13 point favorite.

Notre Dame takes out Marquette in the Big East. They said during the game that Notre Dame is one of five (I think) schools in the Big East never to make the tournament finals.

Just don't go to dinner w/ him.

I think it's fitting that the last BE Tourney(as we know it) features 3 ACC teams:smile:

I feel bad for Richmond, that 2nd 3 point attempt was a terrible call. I thought the foul on the FT was absolutely warranted though.

I actually was going to go to the game last night but I got lazy watching Battlefield: Rhino Wars...lol

I may go tonight, 3 of the 4 WAC Semifinalists are all new teams, Texas State, UTSA, and Texas-Arlington just joined. Pretty pathetic for Denver and LaTech to lose to this garbage. LaTech took themselves out of any hope for an at large even though they didn't deserve one anyway. I think New Mexico State will win it now which is good as Marvin Menzies is a former UNLV assistant and has done a good job with that program.

    Miami tied with BC late.

The last #1 seed to lose its first game in the ACC tournament was 1997 Duke, according to ESPN. They lost to NC State, got a #2 seed in the NCAA tournament, barely beat #15 Murray State, and lost by 11 in the second round to Providence.

They also mentioned Miami was the first team in ACC history to have 25+ wins over UNC and Duke in the same season.

Ryan Evans has been so bad from the free throw line that he's shooting jumpers.

    He should just go underhand.

Virginia gets smashed... have to think they will be either one of the last 1 or 2 teams in or last out.

really hurts for virginia. I think even with a loss they could've gotten in but a blowout loss in their first tournament game is going to be a black mark.

    Maryland knocks off Duke!

    Maryland could get consideration now.

UK really hurting itself tonight, blown out by Vandy. Horrible loss, and now they're not looking very good in terms of making the NCAAs.

Syracuse/Georgetown another Big East overtime game.

The injuries never end. Hopefully Hairston is ok, I think he split the webbing in btw his fingers. I had the same injury a long time ago, if it is a similar injury they should be able to stitch it up then tape it up and he should be able to play tomorrow. It's also on his non shooting hand which is good.

w/ the latest report it sounds exactly like the injury I once had, I think he'll be ok w/ some stitches and tape for tomorrow.

he had eight stitches, they're going to tape those two fingers together, and he's going to see how it is in warmups. Game-time decision.

Miami going to its first ACC title game, beating NC State fairly easily. Game was rarely close.

    Wisconsin beats Indiana again.

The Badgers have two wins over Indiana and two wins over Michigan. Very, very impressive.
