SU has been disapointing lately but at home they are a very tough out. I can't see them going far in the tourney but they have all of Feb to figure out how to score. As for the Grant bros they are both good but Jerami could be special.
The heels take care of business and blow out Wake, tough 2 game road trip coming up at UM and at duke. If they can get one of them they will be a lock for the Tourney.
Was a mistake letting them into the Big East and a mistake bringing them into the new conference. Perennial doormat.
solid effort overall...Moving up the rankings...If Pitt is ranked we should be battling them as well as we have similar records
His coach has done a great job rebuilding that program and stocking it w/ talent not seen since Tark was there. There are ups and downs sometimes, it doesn't mean UNLV will flame out early in the Tourney.
I've seen alot of very good coaches have bad years. Look at Pitt's year last year. Speaking of Pitt I am starting to wonder if Birch is a bad seed. He was at Pitt last year and now he's at UNLV. UNLV has the talent that it has not had in a long time. Maybe it is taking time to get it together. Give them another year to figure it out then start blaming the coach.
The talent is there but I am afriad the coaching isn't... I don't know what the issue is but there is way too much takent for us to lose the games we are losing the way we are losing them. Our players look lost in a half court offense, they make sloppy lazy passes, they don't hussle for loose balls and defensively they are lazy. I can't blame that on the players... they just seem very undisciplined and play way down against the bad teams and get up for the good teams. I'm starting to waver on Rice, the guy can recruit and that isn't a question but even a hamster should be able to go out there with the talent on this team and beat Fresno State. Air Force took us to OT in Vegas, we struggled against garbage like Chicago State and were never in the game against UNC despite what the score says. We made a run but there was never a moment I said we would win.
