2 Games in a row playing good against good pass rushing teams. Hopefully we can keep this awesomeness up.
They had a second consecutive good game. Mark had to Houdini himself a few times, but it was great progress from the Baltimore game earlier this season.
That Baltimore game was a disaster. We had Baxter starting, then we pulled him and put Slauson at Center, and had Ducasse at Guard then went back to Baxter at center and moved Slauson back to Guard. What a mess....
I think a lot of it has to do with Mangold and Moore feeling healthier and healthier... props to everyone though. Oh and BTW welcome back jumbo formations!
This is probably as good a place as any to link to this nice profile of Brick that I came across. Dated today.
Yes, and for I believe the first time ever I get to post "Slauson had a good game." He really did. He's finally developing into a better player. And Hunter made no obvious mistakes. Ferguson played better, too, but he is still not performing as well as last year.
I think Slauson is steadily improving, as I said before he will never be a Pro Bowl player but is a good NFL standard for the money we pay him.
Ferguson is underrated. He's been elite and completely shutting down pass rushers since 2008. (Outside of Carter he's had an all-pro year).
Are you kidding? this has to be a joke. You are suggesting that by letting Sanchez throw it is PROBABLE our OFFENSE would've given up 21 points? How do you figure?
I dont appreciate my OL being unfashionably late to the season. but that was probably their best game all year.
Great job O-Line! Zero sacks! If they can play like that every game, we're gonna really open things up.
Big props to the O-Line for giving Sanchez protection and plenty of time to connect with Holmes on a thirty yard catch in the fourth quarter.
