KC should be disqualified for playing the Jaguars.

so we are good on defense and struggling with a rookoe qb and new system on offense.
suprising. just hope there isn't any knee jerk reactions to this. stay the course and let it develope, good things take time only bad things happen fast

Only stat on offense thats worrying me is turnovers. We need to fix that ASAP or were going to lose a bunch of games.

I'm really surprised at our rush defense. I had no idea it would be this good.

So what is our weakness on defense? the safety positions? the CB #2 position?

Lack of experience for DBs and LBs who aren't named Antonio Cromartie or David Harris.

I would say pass defense as a whole, Cromartie hasn't played too well either.

We are #2 in Defense even though we played Pats on the road. Pretty impressive. And we have 2 moderately easy games ahead of us before we start our series against good teams.

I hope defense gels more next 2 games and be ready for the good battles against Falcons, Steelers, Pats, Bengals and Saints respectively.

    Yup.

The other AWESOME thing about this is that we are ranked #2 with Coples being out and Milliner struggling. Now that Coples is back and Milliner will start to gain experience, this defense could be unbelievable.

Why people want Rex Ryan fired is beyond me. Without this guy, who knows how terrible this team would be with the way our offense has played these last few years.

Only gripe about the defense so far is they haven't forced enough turnovers. Hopefully that changes in the coming weeks.

Obviously not a lot to be excited about on offense, however, our time of possession is pretty good which over time (in theory) should lead itself to more offensive points.

Admittedly though, we're basing these stats on two games, a very small sample size.

Seems like we've been waiting for the offense to catch up for years now...

I think so, too. The front is going to be beastly when everyone is healthy.

It's a hell of a lot better than having a mediocre D and the worst offense.

So why did the Jets sign another LB yesterday and not a WR?

The thing that worries me is that they've faced one very good receiver, Jackson, and another who was the only quality WR the Pat's had and both of them shredded the secondary. Cro has been very shaky and Dee is what he is at this point, a rook with a big learning curve. And well, K-Dub, holy shit. Landry has been solid, nothing more.

The secondary as a whole scares the shit out of me when the time comes and they face a talented group with a good QB. I know Brady is great, but he was really compromised with what he had to work with...
