I want to see how the rest of our signing and the draft go. I thought it was too much $$ for Revis 2 years ago, I still think it's too much now, but if the rest of the offseason shakes out well, then as a 'splurge' I can live with it. It's just that I look at the QB spot and still see Geno's name and a bunch of IMO unrealistic hopes for Mariota, some pie in the sky dreams of Brees, and a bunch of retreads still on the market, and I still don't know where we're going short- or long-term.

I wouldn't mind trading back in rd 1 to say 10-12....hopefully grab a Shane Ray or someone still there..Grab a rd 2 playmaker and another rd 2 depth guy with a pick we get.

Honestly im with you on this one.

 

have to pay mo…can't let what happened to revis happen to him…have to pay snacks and next year richardson…no fucking around anymore

I am fully confident that Mo and Rich will be taken care of. I am concerned though that Snacks will be a casualty of us having two amazing other d-line men. I would be upset if we cant keep all three but i think its obvious Mo and Rich should be higher priority

 

Those dont include Carpenter, Skrine or Powell. So more like $20 mio.

 

And bravo so far in free agency. It is easy to be march champions but they brought back a once in a generation player and locked him down and other then that they assessed needs and didnt overpay much, in free agency you have to over pay a little. I feel in the past what would have happened was put all the chips in on revis coming back then striking out and by the time that happened we were left with no one

 

if we had to loose one it would have to be him..

 

Mo and Rich will be paid...snacks may be a casualty and I would take that if it meant those 2 stayed..
