Forgotten about that Touchdown mag, wasn't a bad rag for us Brits at the time. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
The first thought I had when I saw it on google images the other day when I was looking for my poster lol
It really got me into the game. The Channel 4 shows were great, but having a magazine to read really sucked me in.
There was an annual college football mag we could pick up as well that was an excellent primer for the draft. Remember reading good things about Blair Thomas.....ah well! Can't remember who published it Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
How did I miss this thread! Cool idea. Summer of 1996 I was in an archaeological field school in Bulgaria, at a bronze age site near Blagoevgrad (p.s. I'm old). We took a week vacation in the middle of the summer and went to Sozopol, a town on the Black Sea coast with strong Turkish history/culture. My girlfriend (now wife) was able to come and join us that week, looking smoking hot I might add, and it was an amazing week in an amazing summer. For several years after I used Sozopol as a user name for various things -- I registered at TGG in 2002, or maybe before, I think there was some cataclysm where all users were lost and we had to re-register-- because it sounded exotic and held such wonderful memories for me.
