It doesn't matter who the Bengals put on the field on Sunday night, this team has to come ready to play. Time and time again we've seen the Jets get lulled into playing down to their competition and lose games that they're pegged to win. Hopefully Rex is doing a good job of keeping these guys fired up and not taking anything for granted. The last thing I want to see is them come out overconfident and too relaxed - this is a playoff game as far as we're concerned.
Ochocinco is entertaining. I like him but when Revis is done with him he'll have to change his name to Cuatrocinco. And I do believe the Cincy second stringers will play with the objective of winning the game.

He's saying the Bengals would want to lose to make it more difficult for the Steelers to get in. They'll have a clearer picture after the early games Sunday. If the Jets win, there's only one scenario for the Steelers to make the playoffs.

He thinks they are too young and inexperienced to turn it off for a game and then turn it back on for the next. The local channels and radio are saying that the Bengals are putting out their first string. There are also a couple of scenarios where even if the Patriots and Bengals both win, the Bengals can take over the 3rd seed with help from other games being the strength of record would change. I for one will be fucking pissed off if the Steelers get in the playoffs so a part of me would like to mail this game in. Not because I'm scared in the least bit of them, but because I have yet to meet a Steelers fan that isnt banging their sister and ever stops talking shit. Neither of our teams are flashy but both hinge on defense and running the ball so it should be a good matchup. I would only give the advantage to the Bengals because of the experience of Palmer vs. Sanchez. Time control offenses keep other teams' offenses off the field and that is what both the Bengals and Jets are. Wouldn't be surprised if either team made a deep playoff push.

Playing their first string and beating them only helps our chances of doing it again the following week. I'm not scared of the Bengals one bit, I am however a little scared of the Jets beating themselves this week.
Fuck all this strategy crap. Here's a strategy for you..2 games, 2 weeks in a row, 2 different venues, 2 different full game plans. Best team moves on. They play the games for a reason.
