I thought we were using euphemisms. Charlie Lane and Codi Milo have worked for Spice in the past, right?
More from Ocho Cinco, I took this from another site..... I think it is paraphrased. It's from his press conference: On his matchup with Darrelle Revis? Look here, me and Revis is better than (Manny) Pacquiao and (Floyd) Mayweather. Period. Case closed. I don?t care what anybody is doing Sunday night. If you don?t tune in to the game Sunday, you have no life. You have no life. You (have) never seen a matchup like this ever before, from my understanding. My friend Darrelle, Master Lock, I call him Master Lock. Master Lock Revis has put a lot of great receivers on him this season. That will not happen this upcoming (week). Darrelle Revis couldn?t come at me in a brown paper bag on a corner of a Manhattan street in a phone booth. It?s impossible. I respect his work. I sent out a tweet the other day watching him on film. Jesus Christ. The man is good. He?s good. I?m going to give him his props. He?s a good friend of mine. (He has) unbelievable feet, unbelievable hips, transition. He?s extremely good at the line of scrimmage. He?s just good, but that?s what I love. You all know how I am. I haven?t dealt with you very often, but you know my personality (and) you know my style of play. This is what I look for on a Sunday and I finally get it. I haven?t had an opportunity to play this type of individual in a very long time.
Again from another site......... On if Revis is the best corner in the League? It?s really hard. You can?t really give somebody the best corner in the game when you have so many different styles of corners and the defenses they play are so different. He is top tier. There?s Nnamdi (Asomugha). There?s Darrelle Revis. There?s Champ Bailey. This is how you rate a great corner: Rex Ryan is extremely comfortable leaving Darrelle Revis on an island by himself. That makes Darrelle Revis one of the best in the game. It?s all about how you make your coordinator feel. If your coordinator?s comfortable like that, that?s how you rate people as great corners. He?s definitely one of the best, but I can?t wait to bless him. They play games on Sundays so I can bless corners like him.
On the possibility of playing the Jets in the first round of the playoffs? You think we can play them again? Oh, (expletive deleted). Are you sure or are you just pulling my chain? I like it. That would be me and Revis again. That?s like (Mayweather)-Pacquiao 2. He?s Pacquiao though. It?s going to be fun. The thought of playing him again. I don?t look at the team concept. I am looking at the individual that I get to face for four quarters straight and I have to be on top of my A-game. I love it. When you all see Darrelle tell Revis that I love him to death, but I got to bless him.
My personal favorite and I hope I do not see it: On he has any celebrations planned for Sunday if he is able to score? I have one that is going to be so good. Everybody listening? You know the guy in the stands with the fireman hat (Fireman Ed) that quiets the stadium? OK, I have my own fireman hat made, but it doesn?t say Jets. It?s a Bengals fireman hat. When I score, I?m going to sit on top of the goal post and then I?m going to quiet the stadium like he does and I want everybody in the stadium to say, well there not going to say the Bengals, but everybody will get the point of what I?m trying to do. I think it?s good one. If I don?t use the goal post, I?ll get on top of one of my linemen?s shoulders. I?m going out this season with a bang. I don?t care what anybody says. That?s the celebration of all celebrations. I?m going out with a bang.
On if his Bengals fireman helmet was custom-made? Yeah. I had this planned in the offseason. All I could think about is the guy who gets on the big guys shoulders and he quiets the stadium and does the Jets-Jets-Jets thing. Hopefully the fans of New York will give me the same respect. When I score, I?m going to get on my lineman?s shoulders and I?m going to quiet the stadium. I want everybody to say Ocho, O-C-H-O. You guys write about that. Get it out there and tell them to please cooperate. It?s a fun thing and it?s a great challenge for their defense to not let me in. If I do get in, I?m pulling out the fireman helmet and I?m on top of my lineman?s shoulders. They have to say the O-C-H-O, Ocho, Ocho, Ocho. That?s fun. I?m telling you what I?m going to do and I never let you down. If I say I?m going to do something, I do it. It?s just a challenge not just to myself, but to their defense also and Mr. Revis.
Instead of handing our towels they should hand out bricks just in case this guy tries anything close to this.
This one was interesting, any truth to this you think?? On how much he expects to play on Sunday: "I swear to God, I called Coach (Marvin) Lewis from after Sunday's game to this point at least 20 times. I asked him the same question, "Coach, please don't get me excited. How much are we playing?" He gave me that little giggle and then he said, "We're playing the whole game. We're playing to win." I said, "OK. Now if you get me excited and you try to pull me out of the game, I'm not coming out. I will force you to use every time out just to get me off the field." That's what I plan to do. I'm not coming off the field. Period. If Revis is in there, I'm in the game. I'm not coming out." Maybe Marvin saw how everyone hated how the Colts played us and doesn't want to hear the backlash.
Oh come on! Chad is a fun guy and has tons of respect (in his own way) of Revis and the Jets. I'd love to have more NFL players as cool as mr. Ochocinco... plus I'm soooooo happy everytime he scores a TD Mr. Goodell feels a sudden pain in the ass. I hope we win 28-7... needless to say who should score the TD for the Bengals
I would love him if he were a Jet, that celebration would be great against any other team. I hope he does do it, they'll get a flag for that one.
I wouldn't worry about it, 85 isn't getting in the end zone against Revis. I think it's funny how the headline on ESPN.com is about Ochocinco calling out Revis, and all the quotes about him being maybe the best in the business are buried in the bottom of the article. The media, especially ESPN, is way too comfortable making up and running with their own narratives about players.
