thats my biggest fear man, i think about it frequently. It wont stop me from enjoying it though. In fact its funny you mentioned it. I was wearing my curtis martin jersey the week before the afc champ game this year. Some dude started quizzing me on the jets to make sure I was a real long time fan. We started bullshitting and eventually quizzing other people walking around with jets stuff on trying to "weed out the impure."

I agree....it would be awesome to have some sort of quiz to be able to make an account but that won't happen because it would mean less hits for the site which equals less ad clicks. (Which is what any of us would do if we ran this site)

You get them in every sport, over here, they're JCL's (Johnny Come Lately's). We, Southampton got loads of them when we played at Wembley the other week. 20,000 go week in week out, 44,000 turned out at Wembley. Just something you have to ignore, would only piss me off if I missed out on tickets.
I think I became a Jets fan sometime during the Bruce Coslet era (at least from what I can remember). Boy was it hard growing up being just about the only Jets fan I knew (me and my Jets got ripped on constantly during the football season).
