I was hoping that was just a nightmare and we ended up winning out and beating the Giants in the SB. Imagine that Joe Walton > Bill Parcells Seriously though I am now in Japan and I need to still figure out the whole Amazon Japan thing but a buddy of mine runs the Sacramento Sports HOF and I had the occasion to have a chat with Ken once. He couldn't have been more kind and friendly. He even signed a helmet to me... "To Chris in Section 315" . It's still in Vegas but I believe on my next trip back to the States I'll manage to bring it back to the Far East
Don't beat yourself up over typos. I recently got a book through Amazon which was an anthology of Hemingway novellas and the outer cover, title page and top of each recto in that section said "The Torrenst of Spring."
I wouldn't worry about it, the book was a great read, the mind plays a trick on you when you read, the letters in a word can be in any order and you can still read them correctly, nobody on here will think you're a cntu for making a slight error in your otherwise excellent book on Ken. Besides, I couldn't even put the apostrophe in the right place, what a dkichaed
Just reached a milestone – 50 copies of my book have been purchased! 32 sales from the USA, 17 from the UK and one from Canada. Still haven't tapped into that lucrative Guatemala market though... Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy or spread the word, it means a lot.
Thank you @ukjetsfan! The book is a great read, I'm already 100 pages in, but I'm trying to save some for the weekend LOL. I started watching the Jets as a kid in the 90s, so I missed out on this era (except for highlights/lowlights on YouTube). Reading this and getting a feel for O'Brien's college days, the draft process and the start to his Jets career really provides great insight and I get to experience the flux of emotions from that time.
I finished it a few weeks ago, then passed it on to my brother.... It helped clear up some revisionist history I have of Kenny O from when I was a kid. My brother REALLY needs that cleared up. ha
Glad to hear you found the book useful! He was my favourite player, but even as a teenager I wasn’t blind to his faults. Researching this book, and watching so many of his games, reminded me of how good he was before he got beaten up too badly.
