Trading for OBJ would be such a Woody move.

We all know that OBJ is a diva, a me-first guy, and a general pain in the ass. Do you want him on a team with a young, developing QB? Remember when Eli was breaking in and how Shockey would throw tantrums when he thought he was open and Eli didn't throw to him? Do you want that to happen to Darnold? Also, does anyone think that the Jets have the kind of strong veteran leadership in the locker room that would keep a guy like this under control? Remember this guy's boat antics before the only playoff game he ever appeared in and his disappearance during that game. Is that the kind of high-character guy we want?

Beckham is floating his desire to come here because he wants the attention and publicity of the New York market, not because he likes the Jets or thinks he can help make them a winning team. He burned his bridges with the Giants, so the Jets are his only New York option. He's trying to use the Jets to satisfy his prima donna desires. Maybe he's also unhappy in Cleveland because he's not the biggest asshole on the team.
