    Willie was brutal his first couple of years as he waved home everyone but he eventually got the hang of it and was a pretty good 3B coach.

    I agree. Willie turned out to be a pretty good 3B coach. I was even okay with him sending guys aggressively early on in his tenure. It wasn't ridiculous, just too close too often.

    Meacham is atrocious though. He's sending guys when there is no chance for even a mediocre throw to beat them. It's bad enough this team has problems scoring to begin with, but when you start making the third out at home on a base hit, you're just asking to lose games.

    Thank goodness for Giambi.

    I guess too much complaining isn't really fair after a sweep to return from the break, but this team still isn't playing to potential. Over the next week we should see what this team is really made of. The Boston series is going to be huge.
