Clary did a good job at RT, so they wanted to move Olivea to G for next season, to challenge the aging Goff for the starting Job and be the long term solution at RG. But Olivea told them, he doesn?t want to play G, so they cut him. This guy really seems to have motivation Problems, I mean he was a 7th rounder, who became a starter an the arguably most talented team in Football, and then he just blew that great opportunity.

As they're judgment is what Woody Johnson is spending a few hundred million behind, I would think they're fairly well informed how well both these QBs throw a ten yard out pass.
