Seahawks are running with 2 of 5 starting o-oline and are running it for over 5 ypc and 2 rushing TDs on the Panthers.
Cards are "tanking" a rebuild year and starting a QB they brought in like 2 weeks ago off the waiver wire and they're beating up Dallas.
This is 100% coaching. It is evident when you look around the league that the Jets CS cannot gameplan or scheme.

Seriously I think this was the most angry I've ever been watching a football game. I lost count how many times on third down he just threw the ball out of bounds for a three and out. Had to have happened over five times.

How about when it was 4th and 10 and he thought a 3 yard little dump off to the TE was a good idea?

Zach Wilson is the dumbest QB I’ve seen the jets roll with.

Browning Nagle was pretty dumb too though. At least the coaches didn’t give him 25 starts!

How many of those plays had 5-10 yards of open field in front of him to run into?

I think a noticeable difference between the Zach of today and the Zach that first came into the league is that when he first showed up he thought he was good enough to play at this level and would make a few more (I know the term is overused but) gunslinger throws. And he got a few long range TD passes in his first game, the Titan game etc. I guess you could call it confidence.

The Zach today unfortunately knows he isn't up to par on this level and is determined not to "make the big mistake" And I'm not even saying that is a particularly bad thing for him. After all the Jets DID have a receiver at least get a hand on the potential winning hail mary today. But it does further detract from what theoretically should be his big strength and what got him drafted that high. He's physically, but not mentally able to get the ball where it needs to go quickly, confidently, and consistently.

Its sad to watch. In racing terms he just can't get the horsepower onto the track. Not many people on earth can effectively play QB in the NFL and to do so you have to have all the right ingredients. He's missing arguably the most important one.

This is the play that drove me nuts. Not only did he bail early he bailed the wrong way.

It is a play he ran in college as well. No excuse for this and very disappointing.

I am at the point if you are going to keep playing Zach you run a no huddle and let him sling it all over.

He seems to play much better this way. He needs easy first down completions.

They were good enough that any other QB starting in the league yesterday probably could have won behind them

I give Saleh credit for the shuffle. Tippman seems like he played decent too, which is exciting. So glad they didn't trot Billy Turner out at LT, which is what I would have thought he'd do

THE OL WAS A HUGE PROBLEM. They only really blocked on that 1 drive to score.
Even Zach hail Mary was missed by Cobb.
The OL is really bad, making Zach even WORSE.
He definitely can't read defenses, but with decent protection, he can do things. This is absolutely maddening.
SAME EXACT SHOW LAST 4 YEARS.

Its like a blind man watching football - not seeing zach with the football in his hand for 5 or more seconds half of the time and then get selfsacked oder throwing the ball out of boinds/ into the ground

You should stop watching Football Games on your Gameboy color

Btw...I sorta ignored the op propping up zw. Never mind that he's bad too for now. The line sucks. Last 2 weeks 31 carries for 61 yds. Becton beat badly for the safety, face down belly flop in his own ez for the safety.

On the safety I said to the group I was watching with JD's first two first round draft picks. Game over.

The line looked better because it was a foul weather game which slows the pass rush, and NE played so many run defenses.

Some things that stuck out to me.

Becton is still easy to beat with speed. He can hold off a bull rush with the best of them but he is a liability against speed rushers. The truth is he looked like a backup right tackle not a starting left tackle.
Tippmann was liability. Maybe because he was at guard but he got thrown around like a rag doll, even when getting help. Hopefully he is a better center.
Tomilson is still Tomilson, below average stink.
AVT is out of position and needs to be back at guard. But what choice do we have. He can hold up at tackle to a point but he would be much better inside and I worry about him getting injured there again.
McGovern was what he always was - meh, which is better than some of his line mates.
