Chamberlain has never hit anybody last I checked. Exactly what did he start or is that just more stupid bull shit Sox talk?

I actually don't think they should do anything, but if the Yankees choose to retaliate, it'd be fine. Boston started the intentional throwing by being dumb enough to think Joba would risk putting the tying run on base just so he could go after Youkilis.

Because what Joba did yesterday in a very tight important game was intentional? How retarded do you have to be....homer.

That ball was up and in. And was clearly on purpose.

    Joba's was debatable at best.

And either way, you should never be aiming higher than the waist. If you lose control, you can end a guy's career.

As for being even, that's only if you believe Chamberlain did it on purpose yesterday, which I don't think he did.

Well I look at it this way...

    Hansen's HBP resulted in runs...

Joba's resulted in a strike and later struckout Youk...

    That works.

well Joba never hit anyone, so it doesnt count. But I see where you are going. At least the Yankees can do it the right way. Scaring the shit out of a player with a ridiculous animal growing on their face is as good as hitting them. Except he never set foot on first base.

    AHAHAHAHAHA:rofl:

    In a side note...Cano 3-4 with a homer and 3 RBIs...

    Raised the BA to .270.

    Awesome.

Take all of Washburn's contract and give up a top prospect? Seattle is ridiculous.

That's the point I just made. He never hit anybody. If coming close causes retaliation then every game ever played would be nothing more than a beanball contest. Just typical Red Sox bullshit. They must have hit Jeter and Arod a dozen times in the last 5 years and they have the nerve to get pissed over something close. They are pathetic.

Now Ponson can suck it up tomorrow night and it'll still have been a productive series.

The only reason yesterday's has any chance of being intentional is that it was the FOURTH time it's happened. If it was the first time, no one would have thought anything of it. But it's way too much of a coincidence. And even if it wasn't intentional, there comes a time when enough is enough. If Chamberlain has that poor control he shouldn't be throwing inside at all, but everyone knows that isn't the case. He's now 3 for 3 in throwing near Youkilis' head. Not shoulders, not anything else, but his HEAD. Intentional or not, a message had to be sent. Hopefully this is the end of it.

Joba isnt stupid. Throwing at Youkilis on purpose in that situation is something that you get your ass reemed for, and possibly sent down. You just dont sacrifice your own team before your personal vendettas there. It was just a coincidence. Regardless, Youk deserves it with his dirty ass slide from last series. He shouldnt be bitching, he should be shaving.

    really? how awfully convenient....

when he almost separated Joba's ankle purposely sliding hard at it at home plate...funny you dont remember. That was the game that Brett Gardner showed you what a 2nd rate closer Papelbon is, and when Rivera showed Red Sox fans what a real closer looks like....

the 1-2-3 sit down Manny game...

I dont need another reference do I? If you still don't remember the slide, I just feel sorry for you....

That wasn't dirty at all, considering at that point fuckface Chamberlain had already thrown at his head 3 times. He should have plowed him over instead.
