NYJ: Training Camp Schedule

Anyone have any idea how far Cortland is from Point Pleasant?

Far. Cortland is actually a little closer to buffalo than it is NYC just to give you an idea.(near the finger lakes) You can make the trip back and forth, but you'll have to get up early and be ready to drive ALL DAY.

 

really? I'd think it was longer...

 

Cimini tweeted at 8:30 that he was starting his 5hr drive to Cortland. WTF? Shouldn't he be there already so he can actually see them on the field for the first practice?

 

Pretty sure that all the players are just checking in today... First practice I think is tomorrow.

By chance, I'll be in the Syracuse Area the weekend of August 9 and figured I'd look into heading down to Cortland on Sunday August 11 to watch TC before my drive back down to Queens. After going to the Jets offical page I was asked to "register" for FREE tickets to training camp. The registration for these tickets REQUIRED me to provide my mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number (all for free print at home tickets). I can't wait for the barrage of mailings, e-mails and phone calls from the Jets pleading for me to purchase season tickets. Good thing I gave them a fake address, phone number and e-mail address I use for nonsense like this.

 

Ah. Ok I'll keep my outrage in my pocket for the moment.

 

And the Jets are taking the field for the first training camp practice of 2013!

Cant wait, heading down tomorrow morning for the 10am practice followed by some grub and brews at Harry and Toney's. love that the Jets are in Western NY for TC (some of you down staters should come up and enjoy the best of what NY has to offer).

Is there any update on Ivory? I read that he's riding the bike today. First I really heard that he was injured, is there an ETA for his return? As far as I know he wasn't on the PUP or NFI list.

Just wondering.

 

This is my first time hearing he was hurt!! Damnit. This is not good.. Goodson not at practice, McKnight can't run 10 feet without hacking up a lung, and now Ivory is hurt?!?! This was his problem in New Orleans... Not looking good boys.
