Yeah but we had a chance to win both of those games. Jax was the only game we never had a shot in. If we do happen to sneak into the playoffs I feel like we have a chance against most teams. I wouldn't consider us a favorite against any playoff team at this point, but like our chances against most anyone.
The 1st and 2nd halves of the NE game were totally different. We were slapping them silly in the 2nd. Nobody gave us a chance against Indy, but we treated their D like a Pee Wee team too. Why do we get no credit for that?
It's really all bullshit, though. To judge future games by what team records are right now and how teams are performing right now is the way you make a major media outlet like the Daily News look like a bumbling idiot rag daily.
I definitely give em credit but my point was that our D was their plaything. From your POV, our Offense is the one that Kept us in it, from my POV is was our lack of Defense that bent us over. My point was that our Defense was pwn3d which is why I sad: "...That is unless we have a Miracle on D and they get their shit together."
We could possibly be 11-5 by the end of the season, maybe even 12-4 if we improve enough to beat New England after the bye week. But if we do go the playoffs we would probably be out the 1st round.
So long as we continue the rebuild and not get rapped up in a win now mindset, it won't be a problem, so we might as well enjoy the easy schedule while we can
