Is there a way to watch the Jets-Giants game online? Saturday is the rare occasion I will be out of town and unable to watch the game as I usually would. Thanks.

There it is, your entire post unedited. The fact remains that you "can't wait to see Geno get eaten up by the Giant defense" while you've blasted "sanchez haters" in other threads.

I'm not a Sanchez hater myself, but I can partially understand the frustration of others given the fact that Sanchez has a history that they can take issue with.

In the case of Smith, he hasn't even gotten a chance to prove himself and already you're hoping that he, a Jet QB, fails big-time?....and against the Giants no less???

That's f'ked up, plain & simple and why your "poor mark vs. the 'haters'" angle rings very hollow.

Me, I don't know what will happen Saturday night (no one does for sure), but unlike you, I hope Smith eats up the Giant defense instead.

Unlike you, I'm not hoping "Geno gets eaten up by the Giant defense" <---your unedited words.

some of us haven't accepted geno smith as our qb. I suspected Rex Ryan resents him as well as someone forced onto him by the management.

He doesn't. The lack of reps means he is not qualified to start period. Does that make Sanchez better? Hell no. The reality is Geno needs to sit because he has already been set back by the "QB competition" Why throw him into the fire when he is both raw and unprepared? The fact that Sanchez is a sub par NFL QB doesn't mean you destroy a QB you want to develop.

Once Sanchez craps out the season Geno has no pressure to carry the team. He can suck and learn. If he is thrown in to start now he is doomed.

The entire concept of a QB comp in the NFL is simply another way for a team to say they don't have an NFL ready QB. It's okay to admit that and not ruin Geno.

If Geno can have some success under Rex, then they'll fit. Rex isnt an idiot. If Geno starts during the season at some point and helps us win games, Rex will get behind him

You just get back from your vacation? I think I preferred it that way.

Firstrowsports will most likely have it. If not, the Jets games are usually available on torrent the next day.

I was trying to lay off that post, and you did I better job on it than I would have, so I'm glad I did.

The Jets are behind the 8 ball by their own design no matter if they had given either or neither of their QBs full first team snaps, WB.

They have a head coach that lives by the running game and an OC that treats it like a pair of dirty socks.

As much as I want to believe that they will compete, this is the kind of year that you do a QB competition. It's a flux year.

I like Rex, but the way he thinks offense should happen is impossible. That new RB leading with the crown rule has cemented that.

So, either Rex learns to change his ways or he is shown the door. It's a flux year. And that sux.

And with the large amount of talent at QB coming out in next year's draft, they need to find out ASAP whether or not Smith has the goods.

And unlike you I have my sanity......unlike those that think Smith is ready to be a starting NFL calibre QB.

Go ahead and put words in mouth about 'poor mark.'''blah blah blah blah...." where did I state this?

And if you can comprehend reading English, the word "hope" was nowhere mentioned in my posts.. It's MY OPINION about Smith's expected performance against the Giants.....that's it.....

If you cant fathom the fact that Mark is the best chance for the Jets to make this a season worth rooting for, then be my guest and enjoy the 2-14 season with Gino Smith....I want the Jets to put the best players on the field that can give them the best chance to win games....and Smith is not one of them.

We'll see what happens Saturday...I made my point so you can have the last word...however contorted it may be...

By that argument Russell Wilson should have been terrible, since he started camp 3rd on the depth chart last year and had to fight tooth and nail to get the starting gig.

Fact is: Talent shines through. Either Geno has it and shows us this week, or he doesn't.

Much more common is the QB who shows talent early on and then becomes great than the QB who looks like dog crap early on and eventually becomes great.

If Geno doesn't prove he can play by being better than Sanchez, yes right now in his rookie season, then his odds of ever becoming great are severely diminished.

Well now this is taking it too far. Brees, Eli, Kaepernick, and Roethlisberger didn't start game 1 of their rookie season, why is Geno Smith held to such a standard?

IMO, if Geno has a good performance on Sat. night, he'll start week 1, but I'm not going to call him a bust if that doesn't happen.

It gets to the point that some guys are following Sanchez like does who followed Tebow last year. It's like they can tell the future and have it stuck in their heads that Sanchez is this other QB that nobody else sees but them.

I myself am a Jet fan. If Geno gives us the best chance to win, I want him out there. If Sanchez gives us the best chance to win, I want him out there. If Kerley at QB gives us the best chance to win, then I want him out there, and etc.

Drew Brees was behind Doug Flutie

Eli Manning was behind Kurt Warner

Colin Kaepernik was behind Alex Smith

Ben Roethlisberger was behind Tommy Maddox.

Outside of probably Maddox, Sanchez is worse than all the incumbents were.
