I like the Jerseys... but I hate the whole uniform if that makes any sense. Either way, these have gotta go. You gotta rock the Green and white at home.
yeah it's ridiculous.....i don't actually mind the uniforms......but it's bad enough we play in Giants stadium, with red and blue seats, the fake green Jets awnings, and now a third set of colors on the uniform at home... just save the Titans nostalgia for road games
i thought the nfl had all teams wearing some type of throwback for 2 games this year. maybe im wrong but i dont think the jets really have a choice i think all teams have to do this.
throwback to the 80's style jerseys. at least have a little fun with it. you can probably count on 2 hands how many people actually saw the jets when they wore these jerseys as the titans at the games anyway
And as is pointed out every time we have this thread, the Titans sucked as much as the Jets do, if not more.
The Titans weren't quite as bad as the Jets. It just looks that way 'cause they didn't have any winning seasons..
Once last year was cool, I liked it a lot...In Miami I was getting tired of it. But now it's over with and time to simply stick with the Greens.
I orginally didn't like them but they could be so much worse.. i would rather see the green but it isn't that bad to change it up.
only rushing TD...he had a shovel pass receiving one in week 17 vs the chiefs.. he did really well on the opening drive against the eagles when we had them..he plays better in them hmy:hmy:

No it is about the fans who are silly enough to buy the wares peddled by the NYJs. If the fans did not buy it the NYTs T/back merchandise would disappear fastest then you can say Flash Gordon

plays happen so fast in the nfl that most 'desperation' thows by a qb are not to a specific player but rather to a 'blur' of the teams colors. anyone who's played qb on any level knows of what i speak. think about the play where favre was being tackled and he did an underhand belly lateral behind his back to a 'green blur' for a completion. just seems like if eligible receivers are wearing foreign colors, then split second 'perifiral (sp) passes' would suffer a bit.
Sure I have a Tshirt ot 2 in NYJ green/white. I thought we were talking here of NYTs blue/gold of which I am not one of the silly fans that has purchased any of those wares
They're doing this crap again this week. I saw pics in the Post today from yesterday's practice and they had the blue helmets on. The Titans thing is getting old, there's already a Titans in the AFC and the Jets should be green, I think.
