One of the great things about reading the board the last week was seeing how the majority of Pats fans who came on here tended to be more thoughtful, friendly, and at least tried to be more objective in talking about the game while IMO a ton of Jets like YOU come off as homophobic neanderthals and your posts read like a cheerleader at a high school pep rally. I realize we hate each other's teams and to a degree we hate the other fanbase but it's a fucking game. I watched this game with a bunch of Jets fans. We didn't spend the entire time talking shit as if we play for the fucking teams. For your sake I hope you're 14.
Yes, and on the other hand, I went to my usual Patriots board stop, and what I found was a handful of really bad posters with really thin skins. They seemed to be just dumb kids posting werdz for the sake of posting werdz. One of them invented a post for me, asked me to defend it, and then got all huffy when I ridiculed his five-cent head. Another dropped the profound comment, "Slauson sucks," and couldn't be bothered trying to explain his opinion, and then got all frazzled and thin-skinned and put me on ignore. Fine. The ignore switch is for pussies, but this is the quality of poster working that particular board. A shame, really. There are some excellent posters there - men and women alike - but I think all of the good ones stick to the private pay area.

Someone wants to be a douche, fine... we can go that route. But most of the time I'll ignore them. I'm not here to get in ridiculous name-calling pissing contests with Jets fans, but Mad Backer has a tendency to get a little mouthy sometimes. At some point you give it back a little. And as I've said all along (and you can check it if you'd like)... I respect what the Jets have done. Ryan has made the team relevant again. Despite the almost constant misguided animosity that a lot of you - by nature, it seems - tend to lash out with, I've never been an instigator on this board.

Yes it took such a long time to get over because that is the Patriots goal is to lose in the AFC championship....wish the Pats could have success like that. 3 times to the AFC championship in 40 years, outscored 67-27 in those games, Patriots fans are jealous of those lofty numbers for sure.
