So much for that. That was an atrocious period by the Rangers.

I’m not saying the Rangers aren’t guilty of this at times, but the NHL really has to start with penalties for embellishment. Rodrigues and Bobrofsky went down as if they’d taken sniper fire. I’m not tuning in to watch fucking soccer.

Can someone honestly explain to me why the "Shot Attempt" statistic has any significance whatsoever? If a team takes 100 shots, and more than half of them are blocked, wide of the net, or hit a defender's skate and goes into the corner, why is this a good thing? Isn't that essentially a turnover? Shouldn't the quality of the shot matter?

Furthermore, if "Shot Attempts" are a sign of a good team, what does that say of Bobrovsky, who is supposed to be a world-class goaltender, yet somehow allowed more goals on half the "Shot Attempts" the Rangers got when compared to the Panthers in Game 3?

Igor is the only reason why the Rangers haven't been swept.

yeah, but, Igor is consistently under siege. I do love 13's grit, and heart, and his confidence seems to be through the roof.

Rough game last night. Under siege is a great way to put it for Igor. The way we played smoothly in the 1st needs to be explored why that is not consistent. Panthers are a great team this series may be a coin flip. Best of 3
