It amazes me how a fan (like me) can get triggered by something you would not normally think would set you off. When Alex Wennberg hit the post on that wide open net off the 2-1 rush, I nearly put my foot through the television screen.
Love to see some sustained offensive zone time in the third. Not expecting to see it though. Gonna be a battle. Igor playing out of his head has me optimistic.
And I thought Game 4 irritated me. I'm honestly fearful that this team is done, and will not recover from Game 5.
Rangers seemed to get their doors blown off once every couple of weeks this season and they’ve bounced back well. Have they lost three in a row all year?
Just looking back to January 1 they have lost 4 in a row. January 6 loss to Montreal January 8 loss to Vancouver January 11 loss to St Louis January 13 loss to Washington Doesn’t mean shit, the Hurricanes only lost 2 in a row once going back the same time frame, with the Rangers having 3 other times losing games back to back, and they just won 3 in a row over Carolina. I would be shocked if Carolina doesn’t win game 6. Game 7 is a toss up.
