NY Rangers General Thread

I'm going to try to be fair. I have praised Trouba for this past season. He dramatically improved his all around game from a year ago.

That being said, I don't care if it is Jacob Trouba or Brady Skjei - Three penalties in a playoff game is inexcusable.

 

Plus the give away in the neutral zone that led to a score. Plus almost breaking his fucking neck launching himself into the boards.

What the hell was he thinking on THAT play?

 

I think it's a case of Trouba trying to do too much and not using his noggin......in the right way.

 

One of my favorite moments of last night's game was when Trocheck was busting Guentzel balls after he took the retaliatory penalty.

 

Alexis Lafreniere had the best game of his career. He is going to be scary good next year.

Wow. That's a shocking decision.

 

Anderson hasn't been all that great in these playoffs and that includes the Isles series. Carolina was able to get away with average goaltending against the Islanders, but they can't against the Rangers. The Rangers have way too much firepower and will make them pay as games 1 and 2 have shown.

 

Kochetkov came in for Ranta in 2 games in 2022 playoffs and the Rangers scored 5 goals on 24 shots against him and he hasn't played in a month. Sounds good to me.

 

Fucking Guentzal is a Ranger killer.

Great win. Just shows you ... throw the damn puck at the net....Shit happens. This team now has deflated 2 teams on its way to the ECF... The winner of the next series between Bruins and Panthers is gonna be a tough one. My lady is a die hard Panthers fan and told me to stay out of the house the entire ECF if we face off with them lol.

 

The similarities between this year and 1994 are pretty striking. Let’s go Rangers!
