If the Rangers catch the 'Canes for 1st place it means one of Carolina and NJ would get knocked out before we have to see them. Rangers would play the Caps or Pens in the 1st round depending on who the #7 seed was. Bruins are going to get the #8 seed unless something really strange happens.
