While Hrivik mishandled the puck on that brutal giveaway goal to make it 3-1, Klein was late head manning it to him and put it into his skates. Brady Skjei (who sucked overall) and Hank took it from there. Vesey lazy getting back on the Chimera deflection to make it 2-0. AV with a Nash (groin) update at 10:00.
The Rangers lost to the Islanders while playing only 10 forwards, and Larry Brooks wants to blow up the Rangers. He really sucks.
It was a bad game, at the end of the year the Isles will still be in last place and the Rangers will be fighting for a top seed. Don't worry too much guys.
Hockey has a funny core group of fans. No other sport has such bipolar people that will canonize a player one day and lynch them the next. They're amazing and then they're horseshit. Many are demanding that Hank retire immediately lololol
Buch suck it up and play, AV buch needs to strengthen his core before he returns....bring up Nieves 6'3" superfast, excellent at faceoffs and PK. Hrivik and Jensen suck
Apparently he wasn't physically trained properly when coming over from Russia. He overbuilt parts of his body without strengthening his core and the imbalance was causing stress on his back and resulting in spasms. So they had to take him out to properly condition him, but he should be just about good to go now
King no more. Raanta starts both games of the back to back, Zucc with a terrible turnover to almost bury them early
Hank is still the best player on this team, we go as far as we go in the playoffs because of him, that said Anti Raanta was spectacular last night...Nick Holden has quietly been a nice pickup, 4 goals. 9 assists and a +12, Patrick Roy called him his best dman
Great game Matt, Anti was "standing-on-his-head" awesome. Rangers found their legs in the 3rd and followed their game plan to a 'T' (per Scott Arniel) by not trying to match a rested team freewheeling it but to play tight defense instead and counter whenever the Hawks got antsy and tried forcing it). Jasper Fast quietly had a nice game; showed good jump.
