team is getting smashed right now, but in all honesty, ill take an ok year with a great playoff run rather than the destruction of the whole league like last year, especially against the mighty western conference, only to stumble. that was a huge letdown, it jaded my ass!
Moore with a great move to score the game winner. I'm not sure who put the heat on Stralman that caused him to turn it over but it was some good stuff.
And it doesn't get any easier with Dallas up next (their surprising loss to the Devils aside). Speaking of another 'embarrassment' for the game, the embarrassing Coyote fans have outdone themselves: Coyotes Enforcer Voted Onto All-Star Team By JAN. 3, 2016 The Arizona Coyotes enforcer John Scott, who has just 1 point while playing part time in the N.H.L. this season, has been voted into the All-Star Game on Jan. 31 in Nashville. Scott will be the captain of the Pacific Division team. He benefited from a ballot-stuffing campaign by Coyotes fans in what critics called a mockery of the N.H.L.’s decision to allow fans to vote for players. Three other team captains — the Chicago Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane, the Washington Capitals’ Alex Ovechkin and the Florida Panthers’ Jaromir Jagr — were also elected by the fans. Scott is known more for using his fists than for scoring goals. He has 542 penalty minutes and 11 points in 285 career games. (AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE)
Team is completely spent after multi year playoff runs. The players are mailing it in and coasting, not following through on the forecheck, blowing assignments, lacking in concentration and effort. The hope here is that they've turned into the LA Kings and will turn it on when it matters, so hopefully by then they still have a playoff seed. AV could be gone with a missed postseason
the all star game thoroughly blows anyway. not to support that weak move by the coyote fans, but it is true
Kreider out, Megna in, Etem out....moron sitting Mcilrath again Andrew Gross @AGrossRecord 2h2 hours ago AV does say Jayson Megna likely to see time on the PP tonight with Chris Kreider (right hand) out. My guess is Megna plays with Step/Nash
