NY Rangers 2011-2016 Season + Offseason Thread

Only gotten 3 out of the last 12 available points, 1-4-1

 

Fast is a 4th liner, Staal has been terrible, Miller and Kreider have done next to nothing, Boyle is fuckin' horrible, Nash is cold again, our best duo has been Stoll/Moore....we need a veteran scoring forward clubhouse leader like Iginla, we miss Hags speed, Hank has saved us from being much worse, but the Habs and Caps are better than us, while the Isles and Bolts are just as good

 

Keep the faith man, all teams have these ups and downs. Personally, I'm of the opinion that the teams in the east are getting better, no one team can dominate and feast on the weaker teams like they used to.

It's not that the Rangers are bad, it's everyone else is finally playing better.

 

At least the coach finally called out Girardi/Staal/Boyle today. But until his words are consistently reflected in the ice time, it doesn't mean a damn thing.

Good move by me scooping Brassard in fantasy after Stepan went down. Knew he would step up with guys like Zucchini around him

 

That was a good win yesterday. The team played well.

 

Special night in Edmonton. Slats appreciation night, old school game 7-5 Oilers.

I know you guys don't like Slats but the guy has more jewelry than half the league. Guy is a hockey genius in my books looking forward to the peanut gallery lets go.

 

Rangers go from can't score to playing WHA river hockey overnight.

Looking at the banner-raising ceremony, Slat's oldest daughter-in-law is one seriously pretty woman.

Slats built a dynasty that's arguably the greatest team ever and deserves credit for It

Draisaitl has been FUCKIN UNREAL. This guy is incredible.

Last night was a measuring stick for the Oil, NYR one of the best teams in the league any way you spin it.

So frustrating to watch that game.

 

It's apparent that our great start was camoflouged by Hank's insane goaltending, we haven't played well in weeks...only gotten 6 out of the last 20 points....very disappointing

 

This team is playing no defense right now. The defenseman are doing a terrible job, the forwards aren't helping and the goaltending hasn't been as good as it was earlier in the season.
