i wouldnt say hes smoking anything, hes giving numbers to back up his article.
that said, the Rangers are still winning games, too much season left to get too high or too low over anythnig.
even sportwriters opinions, or facts.

 

If Jared Stoll is a legitimate problem, you are in goos shape, IMHO.

Tommy my heart aches to see this specific team win the Stanley Cup. These core guys are right there, I just want them to grab this shit and run with it.

 

cool part is that there's still plenty of room to get better for these guys, so if they havent hit stride yet, which they truly havent, that could spell some trouble for the rest of the league. again theres too much season left, staying healthy, the whole show etc., you know its a grind.

 

Unfortunately because he's the only one with any legit sources on the Rangers beat, we have to put up with his inane opinion pieces. Most smart writers go against the grain to create controversy and get eyes on their columns; he, otoh, is just completely out of touch with the game and actually believes the nonsense he types.

16-3-2, 1st 40 minutes of game played in Ranger zone, stupid penalties all game, Ribeiro, Neal and Gaustad are all assholes, Nash on fire, Hayes heating up. Hank has been sensational

1) We have a bonafide Vezina candidate in Lundqvist
2) We have a bonafide Caulder candidate in Lindburgh
3) We have a bonafide Hart candidate in Zuccarello

Just stay healthy...Honestly that is the biggest thing.

We had our d-men, all of them with broken bones and other serious issues throughout the playoffs. They were battered. On top of that our soul of the team Zucc was out.
