    yup, that's the "God stat"

pretty much a reflection of AV's system which is excellent in the regular season, but occasionally runs into problems in the post season when it devolves to turtling up. If the Rangers are going to make it all the way they're going to have to adapt and tweak the system even if it's what "got them there". It doesn't work in the later rounds because the other team is going balls to the wall and emptying the tank and when you spend too much time in your zone only bad things can happen even with Swedish Jesus in net

Solid road win against an up and coming Sens team, Dave Cameron doing a good job there, credit Kreider for sticking up for Stepan...JE, anytime you want to trade Karlsson, we'll take him in a heart beat, he should win the Norris again...

Credit where it's due: Girardi played one of his best games in a long time tonight. Outstanding from start to finish. McDonagh being back to form should help him too.

    And Zucc is incredible. Obviously.

Why don't you guys trade Nash? The team is operating on all cylinders and the guy is a ghost

The best part is we aren't even playing up to our capability, we play well enough to win each game

“@NYRangers: #NYR are now 5-0-0 in the 2nd game of back-to-backs this season. NYR are 15-1-1 in the 2nd game of their last 17 back-to-backs.”

Zuccarello continues to play Hart-Quality hockey. It is so much fun to watch him play.

You know, that's not a completely stupid idea. The only problem is what can you get back for him. He's extremely effective on the PK but his 7M paycheck is supposed to be for being an elite scorer. I don't really care what he does in the regular season as long as he puts out in the playoffs which hasn't been the case. I don't think he can be moved because of his contract

Tells you how much this team missed him in the playoffs. I had him pegged last year as playoffs MVP and I bit my tongue and he took a slapshot to the head...

Speaking of hitting the post, even I will admit that Brassard is playing much better this season.

Too early for me to get very excited...Right now, I feel like we are getting the job done out there with this squad.

    Exception being Rick Nash.

sorry guys, be they playing well or not up to full potential is of no consequence, 14-2-2 warrants more than a few sprayings of said shorts
