Zucc ended up with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain... Couldn't speak for 3 days and needed speech therapy...

That's some serious shit...good thing he'll be back to 100% ..wow..

That's a very fair point. All I was trying to say is that even "Joe Blow" is more likely to sell more jerseys as a memeber of the New York Rangers than the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Take a deep breath an listen.

If Ryan Callahan re-signed with the Rangers for what he was holding them for ransom for, he would have gotten a SIX YEAR DEAL.

Martin St. Louis' deal is OVER. it is FINISHED. DONE. As a result, 5.5 M comes off the Rangers payroll next year. That money can be used, among other things, to pay for Stephan, Kreider, Miller, and Fast.

If the Rangers had re-signed Callahan, that same 5.5 Million dollars is NOT AVAILABLE to pay those guys because it would have gone to Callahan for the next four years.

Is this clear enough for you to understand?

Actually, he hit the puck off of both posts of a net without a goaltender in a critical game against the first place team that wound up blowing them out.

I'm worried he never will be 100%. I mean, we are talking about a brain injury here.

Dangerous stuff there, loss of arm movement, bleeding in the brain....Jeremy Roenick said every player removes the padding in the helmet by the ear because its uncomfortable and its quite possible he would have been fine if he had the padding still in...

Cally is overpaid, I know that, my point was when MSL was here they used up the same amount on the salary cap, also we didn't win that trade when Msl is gone and we gave up 2 #1's and Cally plays for 10 more years

low end #1 picks...One of the them is cancelled out because we get a 2nd round pick.

Looks the cap that Cally was going eat up was my biggest issue Matt. It was unnacceptable. I think Sather offered him $5.75m per 6 years and it was not enough.

I just cannot go with that, rather take my chances with Marty in hopes he would help us to the Cup. Close but no cigar...

Time for us to use the cap

Perfectly said. He would have been the second highest player on the team besides Lundqvist, and he never played more than 70 games in a season in his entire career.

MSL was just as responsible for the Rangers run to the finals last year as Henrik Lundqvist was. If they had won the cup, he was right in the running for the Conn-Smythe.

OK, Let's blend topics. Fill in the blank:

The player, who is within reason, that I would MOST want the Rangers to trade Cam Talbot for is ___________________ .

Talbot being really valued high here...He may be moved if the right offer comes along. I think we are all in it to win it again next season and Skapski is nowhere ready.
