Love the rough stuff at the end, Bolts are as tough as US Womens figure skating team

It's amazing how quickly Tampa folds when a couple of bounces don't go their way. You just can't lose to a team this fragile and this poor defensively.

theyre so poor defensively. And it appears Bishop cannot move side to side at all :

yeah the air got let out of the balloon in the third, it was a total 180 they just totally quit. It was like playing a completely different team, I think we just pounded them into submission

Game 5 is just as big IMO. If they go back to Tampa up 3-2 we'll be in trouble. Not that it's impossible I just prefer we take care of business on home ice. Hope Marty and Nash keep it up if so we'll be looking pretty.

And how about Tanner Glass? He was soooo bad early on but ever since he scored that goal he's continued to improve and now makes a difference.

By the way....call me crazy but Tanner Glass has played very well all playoffs long. He has played his part perfectly. Hasn't made any mistakes to hurt us and has shown some guts out there...gets the puck deep etc....not bad at all. Everyone crucified him all year but the playoffs have been a pleasant surprise for me

He's been awesome. I hated seeing him on the ice early on but now he does his part plus more. The hustle on that one PK was just great.

Weak ass attempt at intimidation at the end by the Bolts was comical

I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone tonight.

What a big performance by Nash and MSL. I feel like they read my posts. Thank you so much for going to the net Nash. How many breakaways you screwed the pooch by firing 25 footers, your dangling and skills at the net is huge. Keep being a force there.

MSL finally connected on the tape and buried one, and for some reason he must have taken steroids because he as flying out there. He could have scored a hattrick, that 2nd goal easily was there, but Bishop made a big save.

Speaking of Bishop, I said it earlier...He has been bad and his defense in front has been bad too. Side to Side and right in front can be a challenge. He loses the puck alot when guys in front. Their offense is amazing, but I wanted the Rangers to play a controlled game which is where they thrive in especially during the playoffs and it worked. Must control their top 2 lines with Stamkos and the Triplets and we can do damage after.

Huge win, and even huger game coming up on Sunday. Go at it with the same precision Rangers.

Yeah...keep it up, bring that. That's a game I see us winning. I was kinda happy to see that.

Needless to say Sunday is critical. Good 'complete team' effort needed at home

I agree that Game 5 is just as big as last night. Take care of game 5 on home ice and the King should be able to win us one of the last two. Lets fucking go!

What's going on? First, Nash & MSL are scoring goals and now there's Tampa Bay Lightning bar in the East Village?

    Hey!

I've posted this on a few other sites, but a solid group of Bolts fans showed up for game 2, and we had a blast!

If you're in the NYC area and want to watch the game with great Bolts fans, awesome beer, and most importantly sound, come by Standings tonight.

    Standings
    43 E 7th St, New York, NY 10003

PS. I don't work for the bar, I just drink there a lot.

    great showing last night!
man did we need exactly that. the Nash goal launched me off the couch, and led to some ice cold Kettle One being launched down my gullet.

was great to see Nash, Marty, Yandle all contributing like that.
agree with others too, Glass playing solid. Kreider has been our MVP.

I just watched the highlights and this is really striking. For such a big guy he looks like he gives up three quarters of the net routinely. Now, I am by no means a hockey fan, I gave up following the sport once the Devils started in with that bore you to death trap bullshit, but how are the bolts even in the playoffs with such a glaring weakness? Is the competition really that poor? Or are their top guys really so good that it covers everything else up?
