I saw a Brassard interview last night where he said they have to get back to playing defense first and not have the D pinch so much....looks like AV is taking my advice for tonight

When your down 4-2 you have to take chances, the Rangers can't just try to sit on a lead against the Lightning, the Rangers matchup well with their 1st and 2nd lines, but the Rangers 3rd line cannot stop tampas 3rd line no matter how hard they try on defense. Even when the Rangers bottled up the zone against the tampas 3rd line, Tampa still managed to use their speed to generate offensive pressure. I believe this series will go 7 games and the Rangers will win, but you have to give credit to Steve Yzerman for following the blueprint that he learned from the Red Wings, it may not be this year but I believe the Lightning are on their way to another cup in the next couple of years.
The pinching is what made it 4-2. Had they started pinching after 4-2 I would have no problem with it.
