If I was you, I would be LIVID at Trotz and my team. They never attempted to win this game once. From the opening face off they were content to sit back and hpe for Ranger mistake ( they finally got one). you have Ovi and Backstrom but I didn't hear their names very much last night. Pussy hockey and it just might have let the Rangers back in this series. They had nothing to lose last night....let Ovi loose and see if he cant score a couple and then the Rangers would have been done. Im saying this about the Caps as someone who said numerous times about the Rangers under Torts. You cannot win that way and I sure hope it comes back to haunt you guys. It was massively gay TDK
You are exactly right, jonny. I was screaming at my tv most of the night. Definitely the hardest game of the series to watch. The Caps literally did nothing most of the night, yet were 1:40 away from a series win. You can look at my posts through the thread. I said this style will come back to haunt you. Eventually you will allow that goal and they did. I feel bad for Holtby, no doubt. If they continue to play that way Game 6 and 7, good luck in the ECF Rangers fans!

Those last 15 minutes were like giving me a heart attack. I cannot believe how we sat back and relaxed...Capitals wanted game 6 very bad, we almost shot ourselves. Earlier on so proud of our shooting chances, but when we sit back these guys fire away from side angles to the net to Henrik so guys like Ward and Chimera would fire away. We needed to push those guys out and block those angles. We hung on, I swear I was yelling.. "PLEASEEEEEEE, PLEASEEEEE GOD, PLEASEE" My armpits are sweating. Onto game 7, lets bring our A game, it wont be given at all. We have to earn everything. P.S. Rick Nash thank you for scoring...Marty almost had one too. Those refs almost cost us the game with a bad penalty delay of game call. They need a Coach's challenge in this sport
That woulda been a nightmare losing on that. Wow McDonagh has a chronic shoulder, I believe. Maybe bothering him most of the year. Even when he came back it was hanging and he was in pain. He's a tough mf. Some rest and a cortisone shot and the extra day should help
How is JT Miller still playing? He has been absolutely brutal and hes dying to cost us a game. I cannot see him on the ice again
The amount of "gimme's" he has had has been ridiculous...He just cannot score, however his play overall has been good. He has been part of some good scoring chances
