Nash, Klein, Girardi, and yes Stepan, are playing much, much better than a year ago.

not to bring back bad memories but don't look now Kings have won 5 in a row they're within striking distance of that 8th playoff spot they like to do so much damage from. Finishing first in the West is a major liability lol

I think the Rangers would beat them in a rematch though

Going to the game tomorrow night, haven't followed Vancouver since Dale Tallon.

Who are the good Canucks that I should be rooting for? :D

If you're just going to quote Brassard's stats to me in regards to whether or not he had a good game, you obviously:

    1: Didn't watch the game.
    2: Don't understand the game
3: Are just fucking with me, in which case job well done <3

First of all, this is irrelevant as it was not last night's game, but I digress.

He was snakebitten for a bit. Happens to everyone. I could cherry pick a clip of Nigel Dawes absolutely undressing Chris Pronger (first ballot HOFer) and claim he's a HOF winger. One clip (even if it's a bad one, which this really isn't. He didn't make a foolish decision, or make a selfish play, or anything of the sort. He was simply snake-bit) does not make a player.

You seem to be a stats guy. I don't think I'd be able to convince you that Brassard is a good player just from the eye test, as you don't seem to care. So I'll give you a stat you can enjoy.

Despite being snakebitten, he's on pace to score the most points by a NYR center since Scott Gomez in the 2007-2008 season. Let that one sink in.

I'll repeat. It's been eight seasons since we had a center that has scored more than what Brassard is on pace to score. And that's despite his "snakebitten" moment shown above.

Lundqvist was on the ice today, he should be back soon. AV tried to hide a pre-practice skate before the media came in but Zipay spotted him rushing back to the dressing room and tweeted it out. AV had to admit

So that excuses the damage and utter humiliation that blunder cost this franchise?

I'm pretty sure Brass stabbed his newborn puppy in the eyeballs with a rusty ice pick and dropped it in a vat of slow acting acid

Holy shit for real. "The utter humiliation that blunder cost this franchise?" as if it was in the dying minutes of game 7 of the SCF or something.

I don't care what anyone says, I think Brassard is money. how many huge goals did he score in the playoffs last year? plenty.
the guy is solid, I dig him.
