I foresee a lot more of this: We own Pittsburgh and have the edge on Montreal. Islanders & Bruins are a tough matchup but we'll come out on top. IMO the big problem is Tampa, we have to figure them out or hope someone else bumps them off
Mid season grades (my opinion) Derick Brassard: B+ Dan Boyle: C Jesper Fast: B- Dan Girardi: A- Tanner Glass: D Carl Hagelin: C+ Kevin Hayes: B- Matt Hunwick: B- Kevin Klein: A+ Chris Kreider: B+ Henrik Lundqvist: A+ Ryan McDonagh: A- J.T. Miller: C Dominic Moore: B+ John Moore: C- Rick Nash: A+ Martin St. Louis: B+ Marc Staal: A- Lee Stempniak: B- Derek Stepan: A- Cam Talbot: A- Mats Zuccarello: B- Alain Vigneault: A
Glass had some effective games which means he's not an F, Michael Kostka is an F.....Hank stats don't lie A+, Hayes has been very good and will be a star, Boyle struggles defensively and was injured 1/2 the time
OutsideTheGarden@OTGHockey · Jan 21 Last night was @CarlHagelin's first OT Goal, his 10th game winner. Only @DerekStepan21 and Nash have more for #NYR on current roster - 16
Saturday night and the one important New York hockey team has the night off? ….what happened to Rangers-Canadians/Leafs in Montreal/Toronto? What's with this middle-of-January schedule void? No game? We have to wait until Tuesday's game at the Commack Arena, or Nassau Colliseum or wherever the hell Long Island plays? (pardon the venue confusion, I always get the Islanders and Long Island Ducks mixed up).
Thx Greenday, my bad…..total memory/brain cramp. That's right, we get to see Henrik Lundqvist's "daddy" Marc-Andre Fleury. Normally the All-Star game's a 10-8 affair. With Fleury in goal, any chance Team Toews buries 20 biscuits?
