Rangers have interest in Carolina’s Andrej Sekera thinking its for the #6 dman spot, I guess AV not happy with JM and Hunwick wants an upgrade...11 goals and 33 assists last year...$2.75 mil cap hit....Glass and Moore for him would equal cap hit

 

Glass is the most useless character on the team. Would you do the move?

 

I would trade Glass just to stop hearing people complaining about Glass.

 

Sub useless, he's also solely responsible for breaking up a 14-game winning streak

 

In order for them to take on Glass, we might have to sweeten the pot and throw in McDonagh.

But seriously, a top six of

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Boyle
Sekera-Klein

... is borderline unfair. Then in a perfect world, Rangers win the Cup, Sekera re-signs for around $5M per, they let Staal walk, and Skjei steps in on the 3rd pair next year. That would give us 5 Dmen who fit AV's system well.

I don't EVER want to see Derek Brassard in a New York Rangers uniform ever again. Posting that open net in the first period is about the worst thing I have ever seen a professional hockey player do, including Michael Del Zotto.

Brassard hitting the post on that open net in the 1st period is the NYRangers version of the ButtFumble. That was the single most embarrassing play I have ever seen

 

Can someone explain to me why Derek Brasard is still on the roster this morning, or at the least has not been fined and suspended by the New York Rangers?

Isles skated rings around us in the 2nd period, bad clear by Miller and Klein, bad goal by Hank...

 

They were wrong to pull Hank. He didn't deserve that.

 

Those things happen in a long season, I knew the rangers would start to play well even though they got off to a slow start.

AV is a good coach. I have a feeling the playoffs are going to be a lot of fun this year as long as both teams can stay healthy.

 

RM Isles are much improved, Halak has made a major difference
