If the 2013 draft was to be redone today, two of the Rangers selections would have been drafted in the top 15. Thats why all this talk of our farm system being bad because of all the first round pick trading isn't correct. Duclair and Buchnevich are the equivalent of 1st round picks.

Rather than a phone hearing (five games or less), strong possibility John Moore now facing in-person hearing with NHL (six games or more)

I never said the farm system is bad. I just think its a disgrace that there is not one player who can step up and play center given the piss-poor quality currently on the Rangers.

I can hear the shrieks of horror from the goalposts and panes of behind-the-net glass from all over the NHL.

Well deserved, a dumb, selfish play....especially with us down a man already, and we were stinking up the joint

Nasty fine as well. He deserves it.

Any action on Kreider? Not even a fine?

No, which means it should have been a 2 minute minor or less

Well, The suspension of Moore leads us to chapter 47 of the failed JT Miller experiment!

The hit looks pretty clean to me. The hit isn't suspension worthy at all. The follow through is the dumb part of the hit. He didn't deserve 5 games though for following through to the head. Not like he punched or elbowed the guy in the head. It should have been a two game suspension. One game for the follow through to the head and another because he's a repeat offender.

Already lost Kreider and whole team playing like crap It was a dumb, thoughtless play, by a guy who makes careless plays every game

I agree. It was a tough angle to make a hit from. He shouldn't have made it.

The lines at practice today are:

    Mats Zuccarello-Derick Brassard-Rick Nash
    Chris Kreider-Marty St. Louis-Anthony Duclair
    Carl Hagelin-Dominic Moore-Lee Stempniak
    Kevin Hayes-Chris Mueller-Tanner Glass

Malone's on the ice as an extra. Stepan's on the ice practicing with the team, but in a no-contract jersey. The speculation is that he'll be ready to go next Saturday in Toronto or next Sunday at MSG against the Oilers. He is eligible to come off LTIR on Monday at MSG against the Blues.
