you know what sucks that as an avid Ranger fan, all season long I have been kind of pinching myself seeing them atop the Conference.........wondering how the hell they are doing it. Now, it's slipping away.......not that being 4th or 5th is really that big a deal but being on top for what seems like most of the season only to squander (tough to say squander really with Pitt ripping off 10 or 11 or whatever it was) it with so few games left. I liked the way they played the last game, but don't like that the puck is now not exactly bouncing their way.
Obviously tonight is a big game. I like the lines that were projected this morning during gameday skate. Gabs-Richards-Hags, Cally-Step-Duby for the top two. McD-Girardi, Staal-MDZ, Bickel-Erixon. Kind of curious to see how Erixon does this time around.
3 epic fights to start the game...Bickel absolutely crushed someone into a pulp...Blood everywhere...Absolutely Bickel beast mode that dude Rupp made that other guy into a rag doll
Garborik - Richards - Hagelin Parise - Stephan - Callahan Kreider - Anisimov - Dubinsky whocares-whocares-whocares McDonagh - Girardi Del Zotto - Staal Erixon - Sauer Lundqvist DYNASTY
Amazing. Going to the game on Wednesday, hope they play Hank. I'm a little in doubt since we clinched and what not, maybe give him a day off?
That triple fight to start the game was EPIC. A playoff series between Rangers/Devils would be pretty wild.
Seeing as I can only read about the game last night, what was the reasons for the fights and were they in the very begining?
The Devils for some bizarre reason decided to spark a pretty sluggish team of late by starting 3 tough guys. Sooo, Torts decided to match that, including startin Bickel at center. The Rangers got a HUGE boost from that and took it to the Devils. ONe of the dumbest moves Ive ever seen by a head coach
Almost verbatim what I said to my dad while they were scraping Carter's blood off the ice. Really a poor decision by DeBoer. And he can call it a response to the last game at Pru Center all he wants. Clearly lighting a fire under a hungry home team was a bad idea when Rupp dropped the gloves on the opening draw then as well. That aside, one of the bloodiest fights I've seen in a while. Cue the commentary about how barbaric hockey is.
Tried to spark his team by starting and losing 3 fights and giving up a goal in the 1st minute, what a loser...did you see Torts telling him to go F himself...
