brassard scored huge goals this post season. that trade puzzles me, I know sharp is proven but the trade itself, I don't know.

I would love this trade...love it. I don't get all the love for Broussard but then again, we were desperate for anything on offense. To me, the key on that line was Zucc and the forecheck of Poul. Bottom line is that I think we get caught up in what this team did in the playoffs and not enough on what could have happened and who we really are had MSL's mother not passed away and we lost to the Penguins. This team had/has holes in it and this trade much more suits AV's type of hockey. I like it a lot..now it hasn't happened...but I would jump all over it. Lets not forget....Broussard...take a good look at his regular season and points. He hasn't busted out and doubt he ever will.
Lundqvist really would need that fast acting Advil going from Staal-Stralman in his own zone to Leddy-Boyle. That trade rumor was made up, anyway.
Boyle plays with Staal, the idea was his enthusiasm to play alot of minutes, obviously he won't play as much as DG and McD
guys guys guys.........I have no idea if this trade rumor has any legs or not but if so, you have to make this deal. We've seen the best of Staal already so your hang-up is with trading Brassard? I would think Staal is the reason you were hesitant
Me, I would make the trade, Sharp entered the league as a natural center...Brassard is nothing special and with Staal you can't have 4 dmen making $4.5mil or over each
Let's trade for that guy who's really good. What's his name, Gaborick or something? I think he might have won a cup at some point during his career. Or here's a better idea. Let's sign another goalie for huge $ and then trade Lundqvist in a year for the obvious downgrade. Sorry I'm still bitter. Fuck Dolan.

And with the Devils Gestapo ticket police cancelling season ticket accounts for people reselling, the Prudential Center should be a ghost town for most of the year (except when the Rangers come in and wipe the ice with them lol)
