Kreider and or Nash could have been the difference in this series but neither can mange a goal.

JWWS, while this is a Jets forum, this is also a Ranger thread. There is a separate Newark Devils thread and I'm sure it's buzzing with excitement, just like the Devils themselves and that hole-in-the-wall backyard they play in. : )

Maybe you should go there to engage in a Ranger-flaming circle jerk with the 2 other Newark Devils fans. ;)

Frustrating to see them down 0-2 but hardly discouraged. Keep up the effort, avoid the critical turnover and get Nash to put some pucks in the net and I can easily see them winning this series. Love this team.

But I REALLY would love to hear AV tell me why Richards remains on the point of the pp. He generates absolutely nothing, loses the puck at least 6 times per PP and gives up at least one 2-1 every time. Its absolutely infuriating and I cannot wrap my head around this

lol...Im not around enough to know that JWWS is a Devils fan. Sorry...I mean, it adds up. If the Devils were in the finals against any other team, I cant see having the time or needing to go to their thread to trash them. hmmm...leave it there.

The only thing I can think of Jon is he is trying to capture lightning in a bottle..that Richards has one of those yestergames. A.V. should have so much confidence in the guys that are having themselves a series but instead thinks he will roll back the clock for one game..which Richards MIGHT still have. That seems to be keeping his career alive when you look at the season he has had. Its just, every 5 or 6 games, has that "game"...in which we are all supposed to forget the previous games he blew.

That's the only thing I can think of because he has done nothing else.

Not a Devils fan. I grew up on LI and spent my youth growing up with the Islanders. I am a die hard Islanders fan. While I find trash talking Rangers fans with a perpetual superiority complex to be as incredibly annoying as , say Giants or Yankees fans, I will respect your wishes to allow you Rangers fans to "enjoy" your week in the NHL sun and leave the thread. I don't want to ruffle feathers. I just wanted to talk hockey and thought most of you would be a little more thick skinned, but I was wrong. In any event, good luck. I won't post here any more.

Now that is horrible...tried to stay non homer with that but if that is true...horrible. You see the pick go by Hank as King is almost on the ground...WELL after the contact.

As far as this "the Rangers had a bunch of chances to win" bullshit...what does that mean? Its not like baseball where they left 20 runners on..of football settled for field goals all game long..or even hockey and they were 0-10 on the power play. What the hell does the mean. The Kings had plenty of chances after they tied to win the game too.

    Its friggin hockey.

I think you are a great poster JWWS. Wasn't trashing you bud...but you have to admit..you weren't really talking hockey in that post..lol.

Thick skinned? Come on..an hour after a loss in the playoffs with the Jets, are you thick skinned? You know you don't want to hear other teams fans come in and destroy your team.

    Its all good bud.

My grandmother, who doesn't know anything about hockey and never watched hockey before, knew it was interferen

Watch it again. Kreider was tripped from behind. Should have been a penalty shot.

I think my point is that those are two games that the Rangers could have won. The Kings didn't dominate either game. All I heard before the series was how great the Kings are. They are a good team, but the Rangers have played them even in terms of what you see on the ice. Fortunate for the Kings, the results shows that they have been much better than the Rangers so far in the series. I don't think the series is over, but the Rangers need to take both games at MSG.

The reason I felt that 3rd goal was goalie interference was where the puck went in. It was a borderline call, but I feel Lundqvist makes the save if he isn't run into.

Its an easy save for him if he isn't run into. Its a shot from the blue line without any deflections or screens. Hank has that shot 95 times out of 100.
