just checked out his career stats..wow..thats really hoping huh? I mean..its hockey..you never know. His best stats by far are his 3 games he played last year with the Canadiens but that's really pushing it.

GG is correct..what good is having a backup if you will not use him. Do not get it.

we have pretty shitty history with ANY backup goalies. Habs win tonight, everthing is completey reversed here. Let's be frank, it was a pretty even game until late 2nd period. fully expect a white knuckler tonight, one blow out win is about all we are entitled to as Ranger fans. The Brassard absence will be felt. I will continue to temper any entusiasm as I've been down some painful roads with his team before (This situation reminds me a little of the Penguins series from '92, with Graves/Lemieux.......let's hope it dos not end in similar fahion)

the good news is that the rangers have done their job already by splitting at worst up there. this game is an opportunity to
    make it hurt.

gotta make it hurt, we won game one against PITT and then dug a 1-3 hole. Can't let that happen again, can't give them any chance to get back in

Agreed, especially to Dustin Tokarski their new goaltender. We need to show up this series all the way through

I know I am in the minority here, but I wish this whole thing never happened. Now you have a fired up Canadiens team who at best will injure Kreider and at worst injure Lundqvist. If the Rangers win, critics will say it was because of the Kreider play. If the Rangers lose, they are the laughing stock on the NHL.

In addition, Kreider is now Montreal's version of Dennis Potvin.

Some have already compared Kreider to Matt Cooke.

I didnt want it to happen either, but this a team game and we are only done through game 1. NO ONE is taking them lightly even without Price. The Rangers have alot of work to do.

I can relate,I'm always expecting something bad to happen...but the Rangers, still have a great deal of perspective around all this nonsense and I hope that will serve them well. They seemed pretty unfazed by the whole Montreal thing in game1 early, they seem to have a great team mentality going, not to mention they are flying around the ice. If they lose tonight......then it's another dog fight. If they win tonight, dare I say it could be a short series. If Montreal is running around trying to catch Kreider or trying to rush Hank, they're not playing their game, and that will bite them.

if the Rangers play the same game as game 1, they will win, even with a big push back from montreal. let's hope montreal is stupid enough to try and hurt kreider or lundqvist, that means they're not playing hockey and they get rolled again. the microscope is out more than ever now after the Price fiasco, and stuff just won't fly out there.
c'mon Rangers!!!! see you all in the a.m.

They need to score first and then run Tokarski's ass…….lol, j/k about the 2nd part

I understand your "stirring up a hornet's nest" concern. But looking on the bright side, at least Kreider doesn't mistake women for goaltenders. : )

Carcillo in for Broussard. Prust's comments helped cement that decision by AV.

The Rangers have a habit of making goalies with no experience look like Dominik Hasek. I'm worried.

Nash, nice adjustment dropping his left knee to get the 'slightly-in-front' puck into shooting position.
Tokarski looked like Don "have another doughnut you fat pig!" Koharski on that one. Hank looking stout.
