NBC should be putting the game in primetime. Or at worst on NBC sports. Ratings at 7:30 pm on NBCSport would be double on NBC at 1:00 pm. Ratings suicide
btw, they had to play saturday and not friday because they want to alternate days ECF and WCF, they don't want both on the same day it wouldn't be on network TV if it wasn't getting ratings. They get decent ratings for the Triple Crown races. But they could've put the game on at 7:30 after or whatever.
Not a huge hockey fan. I don't even know the rules. But I got hooked to this game. Is Lundqvist playing crazy good or am I not reading the game correct? Rangers up 2-0 so far. Nice.
Rangers couldn't buy a goal for half of the Penguins series. They made up for those games today. Wow is right!
Rangers couldn't get a break the last 2 series and now that playing the same one on one off would benefit them it looks like they are stretching it out to make sure everyone is rested.

at the risk of coming across as "Geno007" and the slew of other REAL long-time Rangers fans who've really carried the torch in this thread (MattRob, Johnny, Hackkets, Waterboy, Tommy,……and many other 'gers I missed. 1979: Ranger upset the Habs 4-1…..J.D. in goal (speaking of St. Louis--where NY got JD from)…the Espo, Donnie Murder Rangers go up 1 game to love with a 4-1 win on the road up in the Forum (I'm running this off my NHL FINALS memory). Habs won that series, 4-1. Dial down whatever Ranger fan euphoria that might've occurred….
