I would say, without a doubt, that was the single most demoralizing Rangers loss I have ever seen in person, and I have been a season ticket holder since 2002.

That was just unbelievable. They left the ice a broken team.

One more thing: Derek Stepan should get on his knees, and kiss Rick Nash's agent's feet, because if Nash wasn't getting paid so much money, the press and fans would actually notice that he is playing just as badly as Nash is. he flat out sucks.

It's funny cause the Rangers best players this post season (aside from Hank) make a fraction of what these big name guys are making

The guy is so soft, he never crashes the net. He just sits back and when he gets the puck he twirls around for 5 minutes like a fucking figure skater and ends it with an intercepted pass

yeah, game was a total dud. Forget being a good playoff atmosphere, it wasn't even worthy of a preseason atmosphere against the winnipeg jets

So in the playoffs, we should sit one of our top guys? I get he's not scoring, but he has the ability to do so, more then anyone esle. He's giving it 110% every night. How can he crash the net when no one gets the puck on net.

You really can not blame the fans for being dead last night. Again, that was completely demoralizing, and that team left the ice a broken team.

Im pissed, I really think the Rangers are better then the Penguins team this year. I just cannot believe we have lost our scoring ability all of a sudden. And that schedule did fuck us over.

Man that loss stings so much because we outplayed them, they had 13 shots on goal...We just could not get our shit going, alot of pipe shots, and missed chances. Really annoyed by that. Must win game on Wednesday

I'm not buying that schedule crap excuse. Three Reasons:

    1) This was an Olympic year. This is not the first time this team has played 4 games in 6 days

    2) The team started out with it's first nine games on the road. That alobe should have them mentally prepared for a unique schedule

    3) You wanna rest? Finish off the Flyers in Game 6.

BTW - The excellence in reporting that is ESPN's Katie Strang says that Rick Nash needs to score goals.

    How was she hired again?

well that certainly was a bust, when douchebag scored the first goal, my teeth started smoking from grinding in anger. I truly believe the 2012 rangers could take this penguin team down in a series, but the current lineup, although speedy and flashy, has not one ounce of toughness or net presence, and their shots are weak.
I heard a lot of "we hit 3 posts" last night, but in the end the pens did too. a post is merely a missed shot, a foul ball homerun, it does not count..........
Marc Staal has been fantastic for the rangers.

I'm generally pessimistic anyway, but not counting them out yet. Last night was a weird game, really unlucky. That effin Zuccarello PP ending pass that sprung Jokkinen was a joke of bad luck (and Zucc trying to do too much). Why Hank can make such incredible saves and then let Cindy go 5 hole on him like that is also pretty unlucky and frustratng as hell. The schedule is ridiculous and is a factor, what did they say last night, the first time in like 25 years a team had to play 5 playoff games in 7 days. Still don't get why Bruins-Canadiens wasn't last night, and Rangers -Pens Game 3 tonight. They are completely gassed and it shows in lack of crisp passes, forecheck, getting to the net (which sometimes they don't do when fresh either) & finishing goddammit.

A day off will help and I expect them to win Game 4. (Steps deserves to be scratched....he's actually a liability out there right now)

also, I don't care what's going on on he ice, the crowd at MSG is absolutely brutal. What a shame, what once was one of the great home ice advantages in hockey is no advantage at all. All of the "I really don't care that much about the game" crowd plus the nervous die hards make for a real quiet arena.

The irony ofthat friggin Jokkinen goal was that came on the heels of a pretty good power play....at least they were unloading shots for a change.
