Not a MDZ fan but gotta give credit where credit is due the little kid with celebral palsy that Torts befriended's favorite player is MDZ, they had a piece on the NHL network, how DZ gave him all Preds jereys and hats and other stuff, brought him to practice and let him sit behind the bench and meet all the players, he hung out with the kid for 3 days, good job Michael....

how does the seeding work? two division winners are 1 and 2? The other 4 top 3s are then ranked and the two wild cards are 7 and 8?

The Kreider loss is going to hurt. Hopefully he's a quick healer. Going to need him come playoff time.

The division winner with the most points in the conference will be matched against the wild-card team with the fewest points; the division winner with the second-most points in the conference will play the wild-card team with the second-fewest points.

Oh, so you are one of 4,000 that pack the Rock every Devils home game?

You'd actually root for the Flyers over the Rangers? I mean I get that it's a game that puts you in a position between rooting for a car accident or a plane crash but rooting for the Flyers is like endorsing satan.

Have only been to the Rock once. I don't go to a lot of NHL games, may a couple of Ranger games a year, used to see the Devils more often when they were in East Rutherford. Most of my hockey the last 8 years was watching my son play, but now that he's in college maybe I'll go to more.

Great seats and Delta Club tonite.

Yeah, I hate the Rangers, have ever since I was a kid. Actually grew up a Bruins fan- Bobby Orr is my all-time favorite athlete-even ahead of Namath, but I lost touch with the NHL during college- I was playing a lot then so the pro game didn't interest me that much. When I got married and moved to NJ, I started to follow them back in the 80s

The Rangers, Yankees, Knicks and Patriots are the 4 teams that I would root for the Iraqi Republican Guard over.

Yep RT @rangersreport: Watching video of game: looked like Kreider may have blocked Michalek shot with open palm of left hand in first
