If Callahan resigns in TB, this could be a good deal for us. Pretty much Cally+1st for MSL, which is an absolute steal.

Worst case scenario is we make it to the ECF, don't win the cup, and Cally goes off to Buffalo. Cally+2 1sts for MSL is rough.

    It is done.

    Boomer was right.

    peace out Callahan.

Picks hurt, but they should be very late 1st rounders...Time to win the cup with St. Louis. Lets go

McDonagh with a proper ending to the worst game of his career.

I usually hate the idea of giving up first round draft picks, but the Rangers wouldn't have been picking any sooner than the mid 20's in 2014 and 2015, so its not like the Rangers are giving up a top five pick. The 2014 draft isn't that good, and the Rangers pick that is now Tampa's in 2015 won't be high enough to get Eichel or McDavid, so I am okay with giving up the 2015 first rounder.

The Rangers struck gold in the draft last year with Buchnevich and Duclaire, so I don't think the Rangers need to worry about possibly losing two first round picks. Those two guys are first round talents that the Rangers got in the third round. Think of it like this. The Rangers had three first rounders in 2013, so its okay if they lose a first rounder or two in 2014 and 2015.

lol..AM I swear I was coming on to say just that. Either Toronto found his weakness going backwards right at him or it was his worst game of his career. Wow...shocked....forget about the horrible passes in his own zone. That was a terrible game by him. Surprising to say the least.

Still no presence in front of the net and they will win some games if not more then they lose with speed against certain teams but caught some of the Caps/Flyers game..now that was playoff hockey. Holy crap. Teams beat the shit of each other. Forget the fighting..the hitting was incredible. Had the little screen open and couldnt take my eyes off that game.

The other thing is, by the time those picks mature, Hank will be over the hill or done. We're in "win now" mode, and rightfully so.

Lundqvist has been off his game since he has returned...That olympic loss must be still on his mind.

Time to roll with Talbot a game or two here, lets go!

Jay, Phaneuf was nailing people all night, nobody did nothing, the only one who flattened him was Dom Moore, he then cross checked the big moron about 5 times, Dom was the best Ranger on the ice. The only other Ranger to throw a check was Pouliot. Hagelin, Kreider, Stepan, Dorsett are all crap...real smart putting Dorsett on Brass and Pou's line to ruin it, JT Miller has been playing well so send him down....I'm coming around now Jonny, Hagelin is fast and thats it, he has no fuckin' skill at all, bad shot , bad hands, Phaneuf knocked him down 20 times last night, softer than my dog's stool...WTF happened to Kreider...should have begged Vancouver to take Stepan for Kesler and a pick....I guess it all wasn't Cally's fault...huh! Welcome MSL to this dysfunctional pile of dogshit!

You'd be frustrated too if you were the only one on the ice putting in effort.

I agree with this post, but please also include Ryan McDonagh as someone who puts in the effort every night.
