Dom Moore out, Dorsett in, AV fucking with the chemistry, this 4th line is useless, Carcillo > Dorsett

 

They aren't going to give him what he wants. Sather offered 5 years at 6M. Callahan wants 7 years at 7. They are really far apart, and I don't see Sather giving in just to keep Callahan. Sather is one of those GM's who refuses to give in and I get the sense that he doesn't think Callahan is as important as some think he is.

Callahan is going to have to lower his demands. Maybe if he lower it to 6 years at 6.25 or 5 years at 6.5 then maybe it will get done. I don't think Sather will go seven years on Callahan and he won't be getting anything near 7M from the Rangers.

He can go to Buffalo and be on the worst team in the league every year if he cares about money so much.

 

You need to get him some games. He is better than Carcillo. Carcillo will be out of the lineup soon.

 

Disagree completely Carcillo is better, team has played much better since he was inserted don't fuck with the chemistry, Dorsett is non-descript

The Sabres are going to give him 7 at 7 or at least 7 at 6.75. They will overpay him, and if not the Sabres some other desperate shitty team like the Oilers will. Sather's not giving him anything close to that, and he's smart not to.

If he wants to stay with the Rangers, he's going to need to take less than he wants.

AV doesn't know a thing. Sather probably doesn't either. Gorton does a lot of the business, and they wake Sather up from his nap when something happens.

I was joking about Sather. AV might know what is going on, but he isn't involved in the negotiations, so I don't take anything from what he says to the media about Callahan.

 

Might not have changed anything but Dom Moore should have played, stupid to mess with winning chemistry...
