As an enforcer? I never considered him that kind of guy..yeah..would drop the gloves..but someone who will cover the ass of all the pussies this team has frontline.

JON..as far as the Penguins saying that Nash is the biggest pussy in the league...I think there are plenty of teams that can judge a guy like Nash..but the Penguins are not one of them. Talk about a team that plays with their sticks and their mouths first.

Penguins as a whole are pussies except for a few.

At this point I would package Delzero and Miller together...Miller hasn't shown much and is this years yoyo, like Kreider was last year, but doesn't have the attributes Kreider has...

:drunk: the whole team is a joke. Look at this, this will make you sick. EVERYONE on the Blackhawks roster has at least one goal except two players, one rangers fans know quite well.

I actually think Miller could be a solid player in time. He doesn't have the raw talent that Kreider has to tolerate his inexperience mistakes in the meantime though.

    Stadium Series jerseys got released:

    http://blueshirtsunited.com/videos/4636/stadium-series-jersey-unveiled

Meh, not really a fan. But I wasn't counting on liking them anyway. I'm at least glad they stayed away from the chromed version of the badge logo plopped on the front like most of other teams have been doing with their crests. I understand they don't want to cannibalize the marketing efforts of the Winter Classic by having a "retro" feel to the Stadium games too, but from strictly a marketing standpoint everything about the uni's for these games (all teams) seems rushed.

I'll give whoever came up with the commercial credit. It's cheesy but it's pretty good.

Too bad it isn't like football where the Rangers could decline penalties.

The penalty shot call was a joke, Hank had to stop either that or Grabner's breakaway, he was awful last night, can't win at home....fire the coach...you can't fire the whole team, never thought I would miss Torts, we all hated his system, but he knew what he was doing with this garbage...

Couldn't agree more Matt. I had my own (fairly uneducated) issues with the way the Rangers under Torts would back up (give up the blue line) and drop, drop, drop to stop shots (fewer counter breakouts)...not to mention Kreider = chateau bow wow.

On the good side, he did make post-game pressers fun to watch what with the way he'd have the media standing on eggshells. The guy was Bill Parcells 2.0 in that respect. It seemed like the only guy the simmering Torts wasn't on the verge of biting his head off was the affable (and deferential) Sam Rosen-lol.

And to Grumpy's credit while he was here: www.tortorellafoundation.org

Joe, Torts knew how to win with crap, AV doesn't have a clue, pretty fucked up you can't get your team up for a 9 game homestand, inexcusable...

we're one of the worst teams in the league at this point. We have a GM who has absolutely zero idea of how to build a team. We need a GM ad we need to be the worst team in the league for a couple years and stack up some VERY high draft picks

And for the record, I haven't watched one second of the last two games. Its unwatchable and its meaningless. Especially on a Friday night...who wants to watch that shit

Probably one of the best games of the season, after the usual 1st 10 minute coma, now all the morons will say we won because Cam Talbot played, the kid played well again, but the whole team minus Delzotto played well...my son texts me every giveaway by him, I stopped counting at 5 last night...get well soon Staal so we can get rid of the Rangers version of Mark Sanchez, AV is still a moron...

Hank tonight = another home ice loss. He's been giving up super soft goals at the Garden.

Disagree with you eyedea, defense was supertight last night, over a 40 minute stretch shots were 32-9 Rangers, Hank would have given up 1 goal too...

I'm wondering how much is coincidence at this point and how much it's the team feeling the need to play better in front of the rookie. Normally I'd say it's just a coincidence, but in 7 starts or whatever Talbot's made the team has played noticeably well.
